WHO WE ARE

Headquartered in the city of Salto, in the interior of São Paulo, the company SIVAT Abrasivos Especiais Ltda is a 100% national industry, producer of special alloy abrasives, commonly called abrasive wheels.

With the name originating from the abbreviation of the Italian Society of Sales of Technical Abrasives, SIVAT was founded in 1953 by two Italian immigrants, Mr. Carlos Bosselini and Mr. Renato Castellani, whose main objective was to meet the growing demand in Brazil.

In 1955, the company became a Public Limited Company, with the name SIVAT INDÚSTRIA DE ABRASIVOS S/A.

Under the command of its founding partners, who led the business for sixteen years, the company progressed exponentially, from a small company to one of the biggest players in the South American alloy abrasives sector, equality with multinational giants in the sector.

In 1969, given the desire of the company's founders to return to their home country, control of SIVAT was sold to Dr. Abraham Furmanovich, an Argentinian immigrant naturalized to Brazil, who continued to invest in SIVAT and is today the company's current owner.

Currently, SIVAT is one of the most active in the alloy abrasives market, manufacturing special technical grinding wheels of recognized quality, which are recognized in the national market and in several countries around the world.

The high performance of its products is due to the association of a flexible production structure, wide range of products, highly qualified technical staff, decades of experience in the production of special abrasives, in addition to the development of specific solutions for each customer, maximizing the results obtained. and thus offering the best cost-benefit on the market.
